Job Description

• The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily operations, including team leadership, inventory management, and process optimization, to ensure efficient and accurate warehouse functions.
• This role also focuses on safety compliance, cost management, and collaboration with vendors, leveraging technology and data for continuous improvement.

1. Team Leadership

• Supervise and support warehouse staff in daily operations.
• Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.
• Provide training to enhance employee skills and performance.

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records and reduce discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies to prevent shortages.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.

3. Operational Efficiency

• Optimize warehouse layout to maximize space and streamline workflow.
• Improve operational processes for better efficiency.
• Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.

4. Safety and Compliance

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

5. Technology Utilization

• Oversee the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related tools.
• Use data and analytics to improve inventory control and warehouse processes.

6. Vendor and Carrier Relations

• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule deliveries and resolve issues.
• Negotiate favorable terms with logistics partners.

7. Cost Management

• Monitor warehouse expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement measures to improve operational cost efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (eg. Certified in Production and Inventory Management -CPIM) are a plus.
• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and other relevant technologies.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
