Strategizes and leads the business development plan for the overall corporate loan portfolio of the assigned Region to maximize risk adjusted returns and ensure appropriate service level to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty while managing risks to preserve asset quality and adherence to Group Credit Policy, Regulatory requirements and operational guidelines.
Build a wide client network and timely initiate prospects and assess opportunities/needs for an assigned portfolio of corporate relationship and new clients/accounts to generate incremental revenue to meet SBG's KPIs.
Cross-selling of Bank and other RHB Group's products to maximize profitability of existing relationship.

Scope & Complexity
Identify opportunities for the assigned corporate loan portfolio & Region to drive GCB's business development plan to achieve balance sheet and P&L targets.
Increase depth of relationship and provide holistic solutions to meet customers' needs and maximise risk adjusted returns (RAROC / ROA) from the assigned portfolio in line with agreed business plan
Builds a wide client network and timely initiate prospect and assess opportunities/needs for new clients/accounts to drive asset growth in the assigned Region and generate incremental revenue.
Managing costs for the assigned Region to ensure P&L target is met.
First to know with regards to any developments pertaining to the assigned portfolio / Region to tap on any opportunities or strategise to alleviate adverse impact.
Leadership
Leads a team of Business Development Manager within the assigned Region effectively to meet targets/KPIs set for the Region .
Problem-Solving
Delivers excellent service standard and trouble shoots problems & complaints from clients to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
Interpersonal Skills
Group Corporate Banking's principal liaison officer for the Region for all cross selling contacts and external parties to capture a share of customer's wallet for all products, thus contributing to RHB Group's revenue.
"First-to-know" with regards to corporate market development by maintaining regular customer visitation/contacts.
Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor Degree - . Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Economics or equivalent..
- Pass Certified Credit Professional (CCP) . Pass Omega's Credit Skill Assessment (CSA) or any other acceptable Credit certification
Min 10 years' experience in corporate or investment banking at an established Financial Institute
Excellent marketing/business prospecting and negotiating skills
