Responsibility To maintain a high standard of all food preparations, service and hygiene in their respective kitchens according to the standards required by the management. To co-ordinate, in detail on the food production, and all specific duties to all Sous Chefs and employees under his supervision. Responsible for the correct timing during service and to ensure that food served is always of the highest standards. To constantly check the quality of food prepared with regard to taste and temperature. Ensures smooth and effective communication among the kitchens and with other departments. Ensures that staff follow the hygiene and sanitation procedures when handling food / equipment / utensil. Computer literate. Basic Computer knowledge of word and excel added plus. Be able to create promotional seasonal menus and come up with creative menu rotational ideas and dishes. Requirements Oral and written fluency in English and local language. Minimum 5 years\' experience in an international class hotel capacity. Computer literate. Flexible and able to work as per hotel operational needs and requirements. Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
