Assist the Head, GWB Performance Reporting and Strategy in the business planning, budget and forecasting process of SBGs within GWB to ensure alignment to the direction and goals of the Group, as well as tracking of SBGs performance and initiatives progress to ensure objectives/goals set are achieved.
Support GWB to achieve its target by contributing and participating in new business initiatives.
Processes information with a dedication to accuracy and provide recommendation/ summary to aid the MD, GWB in making decision where applicable.
Support the MD, GWB in making decisions by providing recommendations based on accurate information from various stakeholders.
Operate as a key team member who, through initiative and developing an understanding of the business and its issues, is able to follow up on action points and information flow.
Act as a key team member to coordinate and project manage key GWB business initiatives on behalf of GWB MD and follow up on action items through understanding the business and issues on behalf of GWB office.
Support Head of GWB Performance Reporting and Strategy on the business plan, budget and forecasting process of SBGs within GWB to ensure timely submission and alignment to the direction and goals of the Group
Support GWB\xe2\x80\x99s management reporting, performance tracking and overhead management to ensure business objectives and targets are achieved.
Provide excellent business partnership support to SBGs within GWB to enable efficient day to day operations and to support delivery of key strategic initiatives
Communications
Provides background information, meeting summaries and/or supporting documents in preparation for scheduled appointments, meeting, and speaking engagements; coordinates with other departments as necessary for speeches and communications for preparation of specific engagements and maintains and tracks detailed priority list of projects and engagements.
Processes all related incoming correspondence received, prioritizing and determining its disposition to ensure smooth follow-up and execution.
Directs mail to appropriate internal staff with instructions and/or suggestions for preparation of a reply. Determines which correspondence can be handled by self and takes initiative in drafting responses for the MD\xe2\x80\x99s signature based on knowledge of his activities, interests, priorities, and issues
Reviews, proofreads, and formats all correspondence prepared for the MD\xe2\x80\x99s signature to ensure accuracy and completeness, as well as consistency to the Group\xe2\x80\x99s policy standards and exercises good judgment in following up with staff to ensure deadlines are met on documents requiring the MD\xe2\x80\x99s signature;
Produces meeting summaries and maintains and tracks MD\xe2\x80\x99s priority lists of projects and other board memberships and responsibilities;
Works independently and within a team on special and ongoing projects when necessary.
Performs other duties as may be required.
People and Stakeholders Management
Maintain strong engagement and working relationship with internal key stakeholder\xe2\x80\x99s i.e Heads from GWB Pillars to support business plans and initiatives by following up closely on action items.
Others
Support and assist the Group in any group wide projects and business initiatives involving GWB.
All other responsibilities, as assigned by Head of GWB Performance Reporting and Strategy
Keep abreast of developments in Wholesale Banking functions and business internationally and domestically and apply knowledge gained to GWB.RequirementsRequirements: Bachelor Degree - Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Economics, Communication or equivalent professional qualifications or any discipline.
Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience preferably in Financial Institutions or Multi-National Companies, preferably covers investor relations, corporate communication, project management or functions that rely on strong communication skills.
Involved as Business Partner / engagement with business stakeholders, as valuable member to the management team on services and solutions provider
Good understanding of Wholesale Banking products and BNM regulations is a plus point.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Power Point.
Ability to take on initiative, follow-through on requests until completion, superb attention to detail
Self-motivated with strong analytical and communications skills (written and oral)
