Specialist Accounts Receivable Credit Control

About the Role:

You will be responsible for collections, cash application, month-end close and related reporting activity supporting the Association including both founding bodies AICPA and CIMA covering the geographical locations US, UK, Rest of Europe, APAC and Africa regions. You will report to Manager - Accounts Receivable (Credit Control)

You Will:

  • Perform collection activities of accounts receivable for the ASSN and ensure money due from debtors are collected following payment term.
  • Maintain and build relationship with clients and members in any collection activities to ensure excellent customer experience with the Association.
  • Ensure the unapplied payment are being investigated and advised for allocation.
  • Improve to achieve collection metrics target.
  • Work and coordinate with internal business owner and partners in driving invoice dispute resolution.
  • Ensure reminders sent and handling following policy and procedures on delinquent accounts.
  • Initiate refund, write-off and other adjustments following process for AR clearance.
  • Perform AR reporting
  • Monitor quality to ensure high standard of service to the business.
  • Monitor processes to ensure procedures are followed.
  • Perform accounting tasks in month-end receivables close procedures, reconcile, investigate and clear aged and unreconciled items promptly.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to help complete audits.
  • Coordinate areas for improvement to increase operational efficiencies and communicate with project and technology team members.
  • Embed process improvements into existing processes.
  • Drive system implementation activity.
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly status reports.
  • Support and train new hires and existing team members on process, service level agreements and related metrics.
You Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or accounting.
  • In-depth understanding of order to cash (OTC) processes with the ability to suggest process improvement.
  • Work independently on larger, moderately complex projects to achieve operational targets within job area
