(B) Key Accountabilities
Lead in the preparation and finalization of technical specifications, scope of work documents for energy product and solutions RFP, conduct technical evaluation and coordinate NTC inputs on technical recommendation for PTC approval.
Explore and conduct field trials of new products by measuring, recording various technical parameters to ascertain savings and performance, evaluation and comparison of cost and payback analysis before actual field trials.
Lead in designing of optimized energy systems for different power models in all NTCs and preparation of design BOQ as well as verification of NTC provided design.
Develop energy modelling for SLB and Energy Takeover projects by establishing energy asset replacement strategy, computation of y-o-y replacement CAPEX, modelling of Fixed Energy Rate Card charging mechanism and evaluation of NBV of existing assets.
Outline RMS deployment strategy on hardware specifications, installation model and integration requirements to ensure RMS functionality is improved in NTCs.
Review and validate NTC BCs and CPC energy designs and coordinate with Pricing team to input and verify pricing simulation outcome.
Develop asset tagging solution for finance warehousing requirements.
Write educational research papers for knowledge sharing in MC meetings or Engineering academy.
Maintain co-ordination with regional representatives on all functions related to energy solution designs and technical supports
(C) Qualification, Skills & Knowledge
Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent from a recognized university
6 years relevant telecom experience, with 4 years of experience in telecom energy and power systems deployment, maintenance, product evaluation and development
Good understanding of energy solutions working, performance parameters and Capex and Opex.
Hands on experience with design and quality parameters of electrical and power system infrastructure
Experience in power product RFP process and technical evaluations.
Sound technical knowledge of telecom energy efficiency and alternate energy solution.
Sound technical knowledge Electrical Engineering and Power System basic designs.
Understanding of telecom operators / communications service providers network infrastructure support requirements
