Clinical Speech Therapist (Full-Time)

is hiring a

Clinical Speech Therapist

to provide specialised care for adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders. This role offers exposure to a wide range of clinical settings including acute care, rehabilitation, community outreach, and home-based therapy.

The hospital also operates advanced swallowing clinics (Videofluoroscopy and FEES) and actively supports research and professional development within the team.

Responsibilities:

Assess and treat adult patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders Deliver therapy across inpatient, outpatient, and home visit settings Perform swallowing evaluations using VFSS and FEES Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver care Contribute to clinical training, audits, and research efforts

Requirements:

Recognised degree in Speech Therapy by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore Open to Malaysian graduates from UKM, USM, or IIUM (temporarily recognised by AHPC) Experience with adult caseloads and dysphagia is an advantage Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centred approach
