Job Description
This role is 6 months contract with extendable
Location: KLCC
Administer, maintain, and monitor
on-premises and cloud-hosted (AWS RDS)
databases to ensure high availability and performance. Support database upgrades, migrations, backups, recovery procedures, and performance tuning activities. Collaborate with senior architects to design and implementdatabase architecture improvements
under guidance. Participate indatabase modernization initiatives
, including migration planning from on-prem to cloud (Azure/AWS). Assist in defining and documenting database standards, procedures, and best practices. Learn and applyAzure SQL Database
,Azure Managed Instance
, andhybrid cloud database concepts
through hands-on exposure and structured training. Work closely with the DevOps and Cloud teams to understandintegration and automation opportunities

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
