Job description:SUMMARY
Deliver professional, high quality, strategic proposal documents in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Actively engage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop content that clearly addresses the customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs; succinctly addresses key study and treatment environment considerations and our proposed delivery strategy; and effectively demonstrates the strategic value IQVIA can offer. Develop text that is well-written \xe2\x80\x93 concise, clear and coherent; grammatically correct; and professionally presented.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Business Development, Therapeutic Strategy Lead, Medic and Feasibility Leads to collect input to include in proposal.
  • Ensure the overall flow of the proposal and a coherent \xe2\x80\x98story\xe2\x80\x99 that effectively conveys the key messaging agreed on by the team.
  • Ensure that all customer requirements have been addressed in the proposal; ensure consistency between customer needs and expectations, strategy proposed and budgeted specifications.
  • Work with SMEs to clarify any content in the proposal that is not clear.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
All responsibilities are essential job functions unless noted as non-essential (N).REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Native English speaker or near-native speaker with extensive educational or professional experience in English-speaking country.
  • Demonstrated writing and/or editing skills; technical writing, proposal writing, medical writing, editing and/or other professional writing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of clinical development industry
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to make timely, sound decisions and escalate appropriately in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to communicate key messaging clearly and simply, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to balance strong attention to detail with overall business and deliverable objectives
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with proposal team members and managers.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Degree in technical writing, professional writing, communications, journalism, linguistics or related field, and a minimum of 4 year\'s direct experience in proposal writing, technical writing, editing, professional writing or other industry-specific operations experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Extensive use of computer and remote communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
  • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
