Job Description

The Position

Collaborates with hiring managers and senior management to drive the full lifecycle recruitment (candidate sourcing, pipelining, selection & hiring) of talent for a business area or region - individually managing a portfolio of requisitions and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Utilises social media, data and technology to identify, engage and assess talent for curent and future business requirements. Reviews resumes/applications, screens candidates, negotiates offers and undertakes other recruiting activities as required. Conducts state of the art candidate assessments using in depth behavioral and skills assessment techniques. Supports onboarding of candidates by processing offer letters and pre-onboarding activities, responding to inquiries while maintaining quality and compliance. Manages expectations of hiring managers and candidates including identifying, escalating and resolving issues. Coaches hiring managers in all aspects of talent attraction and assessment, as well as providing feedback to candidates, developing offers, determining competencies, coordinating interview team/panel
Utilises, updates and maintains applicant tracking system and CRM if necessary. Supports requisitions including, as needed, identifying appropriate Contingency or Retains Search firm vendors, maintaining relationships and partnering to ensure that candidates are assessed expeditiously. Contributes to the development/improvement of recruitment processes. Partners with Client Group on internal talent management, including succession planning, talent review and internal candidate movement as needed. Attends job fairs, conferences and networking events.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

A professional & consultative position that partners with the business across the globe regarding all talent acquisition aspects including talent sourcing, selection, and hiring.

Works autonomously, and has the dexterity to participate or lead recruiting squads across regions or globally when necessary.

At the most senior level, may lead complex recruitment transformation projects across functions at a global level, with close connection to People Relations, Business Partnering and other specialists.

Able to capture the current and foresee requirements for areas of expertise (within Business area and sub-Region, or regionally)

Wear multiple hats/tags to enable workflow agility and fluidity across clusters/regions, networks

Responsible for engaging and consulting with peers to upskill each other to mutual and organisational benefit

Provide broad, holistic & customized talent acquisition strategy/solution, pipelining, branding, talent selection, candidate experience, sourcing, develop offer details and handle negotiations, etc.

Able to drive end-to-end global standardized recruiting process

Proactively build up strategy, build talent pools in advance

Diligent user and expert of applicant tracking and sourcing tools such as Workday, Phenom People, LinkedIn

Keep up with new recruitment trends for ongoing optimization, ultimately, to attract and hire the best talents for Roche to achieve our ambition

Flex to support, projects and business transformation needs via squads

P&C Cross Chapter collaboration and builds strong relationships across the chapters

Intentionally create strong relationships with IWS AoPs and other TAPs

Understands the strategic workforce plan of a business area and is able to transfer it into appropriate action. Able to connect and utilize the IWS resources/tools/methods to implement the talent acquisition strategy and drive the process for the business area

Understands different assessment methodologies and consults with the business which ones are most appropriate.

Facilitates the decision making process with the hiring manager and the other involved stakeholders to hire the best candidate for the role.

Manages the offer process with all necessary stakeholders (creates an offer proposal, obtains approvals, extends offers, and negotiates with candidate if required)

Qualifications:

Based on local requirements: University degree or equivalent on-the-job training / experience gained.

Demonstrated experience with the end to end talent acquisition (corporate/agency setting or equivalent work experience)

Location subject to sub-regional or regional criteria (eg language, req volumes, local market nuances etc.)
