Professional, Full Time (Contract)Location: Miri, SarawakSalary range : RM31,000.00 - RM48,000 per annumYour new roleThe Student Experience Officer manages the activities and initiatives associated with student experience for the division, providing a knowledgeable service to students and ensuring the relevant University procedures and processes are followed.\xef\xbb\xbfThe incumbent should be able to work independently and proactively to support the Student Experience and students under Curtin Extra in achieving its operational priorities.\xef\xbb\xbfKey responsibilities

• Promote, coordinate and deliver a portfolio of events, initiatives and activities to enhance the student experience and engagement for all students.
• Administer the entire general administrative function of Student Experience unit.
• Manage the units filing systems.

About youTo be successful in this role, you will have:\xef\xbb\xbf

• A degree from a recognised institution in any field.
• Proficient in computer-based word processing, spreadsheets, presentation and database.
• Demonstrated experience in organising events.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to maintain professional relationships, both within and outside the university.
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communications skills with a wide variety of people from diverse culture and the ability to maintain professional relationships, both within and outside the university.
• Demonstrated ability to organize time and workload in order to meet deadlines and maintain control of multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team.

Desirable

• Knowledge of administrative process.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the universitys students activities.
• Able to work during non-office hours if required, in order to support students activities and events.
