The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.OverviewThe Security Supervisor is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of security programs designed to protect employees, visitors, contractors, and company assets. The Security Supervisor will work with various departments to ensure that security procedures are adequate and up to date. He or she will also be responsible for investigating security incidents, preparing reports, and making recommendations for improvement as and where necessary.sOversees the monitoring of the Security Program, ensuring the program is aligned with company priorities and meets departmental goals.Ensures the Security Operations Center (SOC) alarms, video surveillance, communications devices and other pertinent security equipment is adequate, and functional and the center is always appropriately staffed.Access badge control and accountability including preparing and administering the Employee Badging activities.Is responsible for Helping to set the culture of Security and customer facing representation of Security and Facilities as a whole.Foster relations and integrating information sharing with Facilities and EHS.Monitor welfare of security personnel working and during incidentsSupport the Security Operations Center personnelRespond, track incident and requests to completionConfirm presence and activities of scheduled security officers \xe2\x80\x93 ensure proper uniform, cleanliness.Monitor employee performance, attendance, and document for use in evaluations and day to day shift operationsReview site documentation, activity, and officer audit reportsMake required notificationsCommunicate instruction to security team and others as directedProvide reports to Security Manager and other Dexcom Administration.Ensuring that security measures are in place to protect against theft, fire hazards, and other physical threats to assetsEstablishes and maintains site procedures and instructions outlining the roles and responsibilities for maintaining a safe and secure workplace and facility.Supervises and trains Security Leads and other personnel assigned to protective service duties, as necessary.Coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, and other emergency response teams as neededRespond to security alarms and investigate suspicious activityCoordinating security activities with other departments, including Facilities and Human ResourcesReviewing security reports and identifying potential problems that need to be addressedDeveloping security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirementsJob RequirementsTypically requires Bachelors Degree. Professional Certificate, any field or professional security qualification would be advantageous.Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Security organization in a Supervisory role at an MNC or relevant industry experience.Experienced in conducting investigations on security related incidents: breach, loss prevention cases, workplace violence etc.Good knowledge of security equipment and security systems - Intrusion Alarm, CCTV related systems, Integrated security systems, Card Access Systems, Badge preparation, Visitor Management System, etc.Working proficiency in English and Malay.
