Supply Chain Management Senior Advisor

Our Supply Chain team within Materials and Purchasing drives the development, implementation and management of supply chain operations and suppliers in the delivery of strategic programs. It\xe2\x80\x99s all about managing supplier relationships and ensuring the availability of parts and services in the supply chain, while maintaining inventory at acceptable levels. We focus our resources on the continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes and establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll achieve
As a Supply Chain Management Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and integrating the flow of materials and information among suppliers, operations/manufacturing, distributors and customers. Conduct and/or manage strategic supply chain analysis to identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Work closely with other functional areas to develop supply chains for new and existing products

You will:

Manage global system product transitions to minimize excess and obsolete material

Coordinate activities globally to prevent material shortages and react quickly to material shortages

Lead multiple varied technology programs; identify and define opportunities for process improvements within the procurement/supply chain function

Partner with Global Commodity Managers for product sourcing decisions

Lead World-Wide Procurement and regional extended teams to ensure risk mitigation plan is in place for any identified supply chain risks

Essential Requirements

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree and 8+ years related experience

Working knowledge of multiple functional areas, including the business processes, tools and how the various functions are connected

Problem solving/ analysis skills and resolve issues

Demonstrable supplier management and negotiation skills

Effective interpersonal and presentation skills

Desirable Requirements

Familiar with Macro, PowerBI, or other data analytics tools

Understanding of global supply chain, manufacturing footprint and logistics capabilities
