The roleAs one of our experts, you will assess the safety and integrity of our clients\xe2\x80\x99 ships and offer sound technical advice on meeting industry standards. This means you will:

• Conduct and support existing ship surveys for both domestic and foreign flag vessels
• Deal with statutory surveys and certification and where applicable liaise with Flag or Port State Surveyors
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards
• Adhere to contractual requirements such as timeline and budget
• Provide a great customer experience by incorporating customer feedback into our service delivery
• Stay up to date with your knowledge via continuous professional development

What you bringYou will be a trusted advisor with sound technical knowledge and the ability to work without supervision, as well as having:

• A Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Engineering (i.e. Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering) Or Certificate of Competency Marine Engineer Officer Class 1 Foreign Going
• A strong understanding of Marine & Offshore business gained through experience in Marine Engineering or Inspection
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Proven experience managing clients
