Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Systems Analyst & Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will be a key player in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into functional applications, analyzing and debugging existing code, providing critical technical support, and ensuring the ongoing performance and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

Translate user needs and business requirements into technical specifications, functional prototypes, and user-friendly applications. Analyze and debug existing code and SQL scripts to troubleshoot issues and understand application logic. Understand and apply CI/CD, CaaS, MQTT, and microservice architectures. Troubleshoot, test, and find effective solutions for complex coding problems, including conducting unit, integration, and functional tests. Provide 24x7 on-call production support or work night shifts with advanced scheduling as needed. Conduct thorough analysis to troubleshoot incidents and perform comprehensive root cause analysis. Implement security protocols and perform regular security checks to protect applications. Create and maintain technical documentation, flow charts, and handbooks to guide users and assist with system operation. Look for opportunities to automate business processes with technology. Estimate costs of system solutions and prepare project plans. Develop use cases and plan and coordinate testing of new or enhanced applications.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or in a STEM related field of study. Minimum 2 years of experience with: Implementing software solutions (patching, installing, upgrading etc.) Cloud platforms Azure, AWS or SaaS applications. Microsoft infrastructure (Windows Server Administration, MS SQL, Azure integrations, Active Directory, Hyper-V) Scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, JSON, and shell scripting. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including database administration and troubleshooting. Understanding of APIs, integrations and data structures. Strong communication and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in containerization technologies like Docker and/or Kubernetes. Experience in ITIL or service management frameworks. Understanding of cybersecurity standards. Technical Procedure Documentation. Disaster Recovery Business Continuity planning. Hardware and software asset management, support and sustaining of all systems to reduce the cyber risk to Industrial Control systems.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
