Position : System Analyst (ERP-Focused)

Salary : Up to RM 7,500 (Based on working experience)

Location : Imazium, Uptown Damansara

Working Days : 8.30am - 5.30pm / Mon - Fri

Job Summary:

We are seeking a System Analyst (ERP-Focused) to oversee and optimize our ERP system and related applications. This role blends technical expertise with business understanding to ensure system stability, high-quality delivery, and seamless integration across processes. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, PMO, and outsourced technical teams, providing technical guidance, reviewing code and system designs, and ensuring ERP enhancements align with long-term maintainability and organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

ERP System Analysis & Technical Governance

Analyze ERP and related system behavior at functional and technical levels Review technical designs, architecture, and code logic from vendors or internal teams Conduct impact assessments for system changes, enhancements, and integrations Investigate and resolve root causes of system issues, including code, data, or process-related problems

ERP Ownership & Change Management

Act as the technical owner for ERP modifications and enhancements Ensure changes are properly documented, approved, tested, and deployed Prevent uncontrolled customizations and promote long-term maintainable solutions Support production incidents with hands-on analysis and timely resolution

Programming & Technical Support

Understand backend logic in C#/.NET Core and frontend components in Angular Analyze logs, SQL queries, and API interactions for troubleshooting and validation Provide hands-on coding or prototyping when necessary to support technical solutions

Project & PMO Collaboration

Partner with PMO and business teams on ERP-related projects Assist in effort estimation, technical feasibility studies, and delivery planning Participate in UAT planning, go-live readiness, and post-implementation reviews Identify and communicate technical risks, dependencies, and constraints

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Liaise effectively with outsourced technical teams and system integrators Challenge technical proposals and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards Ensure deliverables, including code, documentation, and testing evidence, meet expectations Translate technical matters into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders

Other Responsibilities

Perform ad-hoc technical tasks or analysis as assigned by management

Requirements:

Technical & Educational Background

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline 5-8 years of relevant experience, including: 2-4 years as a software developer/programmer Subsequent experience as a System Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Technical Lead Hands-on experience with: C# / .NET Core Angular or similar frontend frameworks SQL and relational database systems API-based system integrations

System Analyst & Professional Skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system-thinking capabilities Experience in requirement analysis, technical documentation, and impact assessments Familiarity with ERP systems and business process workflows Experience managing vendor relationships and collaborating with PMO teams Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred / Advantageous

Previous exposure to ERP modules in finance, inventory, or operations Experience in production support and troubleshooting of enterprise systems
