At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.What will you be doing?Oversee delivery of stakeholder requirements for various indirect categories such as Facilities, Marketing, IT, and Learning and Development, including supplier negotiation and finalization, applying procurement tools and techniques.Handle supplier relationships, supervise performance, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and drive cost reduction, efficiency, and quality improvements across all aspects of sourcing and supply chain operations.Ensures alignment of Category Strategies with stakeholders, achieves annual savings targets, increases spending under management, supports innovation agenda, and effectively handles supplier relationships and risks.What will you need to be successful?Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, finance, or related field required, with a minimum of 10 years\' experience in procurement, including at least 3 years in sourcing and contracting.Demonstrates effective teamwork skills, serving as both a facilitator and team member within collaborative settings.Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication abilities, including superior telephone etiquette and a customer service-oriented approach.Works cooperatively with end users, team members, suppliers, and management, driven by the goal to meet or exceed customer expectations based on SLAs and continuous process improvement.Possesses the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize projects to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, along with a commitment to the role and organization.You.
