Job Description


: Job Purpose *
Responsible for all GTD - GST Division and overall projects and core Transformation Office administrative management functions, which include facility and resource management, tracking budgets and risks as well as reporting various status and its compliances. This person assists the Program Directors / Project Managers to ensure deliverables are met on schedule, within schedule and meet quality targets working effectively across IT & with key business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities *

  • Manage the project governance with all stakeholders for both financial and non-financial administrative matters
  • Manage projects purchases and provide report as per stipulated timelines
  • Take initiatives to improvise project processes, procedures, and toolkits to improve the standardization, efficiency, and effectiveness of project governance.
  • Proactively manage and ensure staff comply to regulatory requirements
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of resources as well as resource availability, especially through critical periods of the projects
Job Specification *PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Collaborate with Project Directors, Project Managers, team members and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities:
  • Work closely with various PDs / PMs on work plans and resourcing requirements
  • Assist PDs / PMs in logistics, where applicable, for major milestones
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
  • Assist PDs / PMs in collating required reporting at specific frequency
  • Ensure optimal availability of resources are visible throughout the programs\' execution
  • Track and keep record of department meetings
  • Generate reports and presentations to communicate project status and findings to stakeholders
  • Support project closure activities including post implementation review meetings.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT
  • Track and update registry of spends and resources. Assess the impact on projects and take action.
  • Ensure all POs are in order and paid.
CONTROL
  • Manage and track the onboarding and offboarding of staff through the program execution
  • Ensure all staff adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements of the bank
Qualifications(Basic Degree/Diploma etc) Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or other related field
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirementsProfessional certification will be added advantage. E.g. PMP, Prince 2
Relevant Work Experiece

  • 8 - 11 years\' of assisting program directors or project managers in the field of IT
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and run effective meetings
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail
Personal skills (Soft Competencies [Core/Leadership])
  • Demonstrate a \'Can-Do\' attitude
  • Strong planning and organising skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead and provide guidance to team members, drawing on their project and technical experience
  • Able to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams.
  • Able to follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
