Execute required operational task and provide operational expertise to teams
Provide support to Team Leads & Circle Lead in Payment & Remittance Circle in the overall management and operational of various back office functions within the Unit/Section.
To ensure payment and processes are executed within the stipulated turnaround time as per policy and guidelines of the bank as well as BNM / My Clear\xe2\x80\x99s requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Execute operational task that require functional expertise or skills
Produce necessary output, in line with the objective of the team
Provide feedback on key issues faced by both customers and teams
Print out the MT103 messages from IPLA-SWIFT system
Review & identify the MT103 messages for any Red Flags
Request documents from respective customers via email / calls
Verify the purpose of payments in documents / invoices received from customers is as per MT103 message
Confirm Foreign Exchange Rates (contract numbers) provided by customers with Forex Dealers
Execute and manage Inward Foreign TT payments to all customers
Complete CBOP reporting on next working day
Close monitoring & follow up on outstanding MT103 messages which pending documents submission.
Perform MT199 to Agents Banks where items could not be credited
Attend to customer\xe2\x80\x99s query through emails & calls
Drive continuous improvement and optimization of processes to enhance customer centricity and productivity
Ensure accuracy & all payments are completed & accounted for.
Ensure all payments are executed with agreed TAT & accordance to SOP as well as regulatory requirement
Perform end of day balancing to ensure all are done accurately before closing the system.
Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor Degree - Minimum Degree in related field and above.
Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in banking operation & process improvement initiatives
Expertise and capability of performing tasks relevant to the domain and delivering required output
Good problem solving skills
Ability to provide answers to impromptu questions
Good communication skills (ability to communicate/collaborate with team members)
Ability to be patient and actively listens to others, and understands others\' views
