Technical Consultant

Candidate will work in TECHub APJ team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia / Beijing, China providing presales technical consulting services supporting our HPE colleagues and partners. TECHub is a group of people with deep technology expertise and product knowledge across HPE Hybrid IT product portfolios. TECHub services include designing, configuring and positioning technology solutions from HPE products, providing clarification on technical queries and assisting in RFP tender proposals. TECHub is a dedicated team of consultants that are passionate in helping our customers to solve their IT challenges and meeting their business needs. Responsibilities:

• Understands customer business requirement from a technical viewpoint and uses technical expertise to propose and configure solutions to achieve customer business needs.
• Work closely with HPE sales field teams and partners for configurations, technical queries, solution designs and proposals and RFP requests
• Acquires, maintains, grows and demonstrates technical knowledge of HPE\xe2\x80\x99s technology and solutions and deepens expertise within area of specialization
• Work closely with engineers, marketing team, product team in region/WW to resolve complex request and represent customer\xe2\x80\x99s technical issues and feedback on products and solutions
• Shares knowledge and experience with the team and peers.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor degree in the field of computer science, business information systems, engineering or related fields or corresponding years of relevant work experience
• Minimum 2 - 4 years of technical experience in IT industry preferably on the hardware infrastructure side

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of IT concepts, basic understanding of networking and IT hardware/solutions and an overall passion in Technology
• Team player, ability to collaborate effectively and maintain good relationships with team members and various stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good written/spoken communication skills in English
