Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARYResponsible for overseeing the daily maintenance operations of the airport\'s infrastructure and utility systems. This role enables airport facilities to have safe, efficient, and reliable opportunities.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of airport infrastructure, including water reticulation, re-chlorination plant, reservoir, sewerage system and pumping stations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure prompt resolution to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with contractors and external service providers, overseeing their work to ensure compliance with project specifications and airport standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and project documentation.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including FAA standards and environmental regulations.

Key Challenges

• Require good communication skills, organizing and analytical skills, knowledge, creativity and change management.
• Increase of maintenance cost, staff cost and budget constraint for maintenance with high system service availability and reliability.
• Knowledgeable in Word Class Maintenance Concept.
• Managing external stakeholders i.e., Airline Operators, Groundhandlers, CAAM

Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and piping systems (water & sewerage). Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools
• Posses updated knowledge of the latest technology in airport facilities, World Class Maintenance and project management
• Good working knowledge in contract management i.e construction, legal and value engineering
• Working knowledge in managing multiple vendors and contractors
• Good writing and communication skills
• Innovative, visionary, good coordination skills, hardworking, have analytical and strategic thinking, able to work independently, multitasking

Relevant IndustriesInternal

• Diploma holder with working experience in the airport environment
• Certificate holder with minimum of 5 years
• Preferably in operation and maintenance (O&M) or project management
• Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C
• The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion

External

• Diploma with 1 year working experience in the airport environment
• Preferably in operation and maintenance (O&M), construction site or project management

• Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering

External
