Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARYPlan and execute the operation works and ensuring the works done are accordingly to the specified operation standards, best practices and quality so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• To provide feedback to the Technical Officer for the creation, planning, execution, monitoring and improvement of Mechanical PPM activities
• To perform Maintenance on special / critical equipments (Sorters, Hinge Diverters, Reclaim conveyors Collecting, Power curve, spiral conveyors & etc.)
• Responsible for all matters pertaining to BHS Maintenance activities of Technicians during his duty / shift.
• Being part of the subject matter expert for mechanical system in Baggage Handling System (BHS)
• Provide technical report for any incident happen in BHS.
• Implement effective operation work on BHS of related area concerned to comprehensively support airport operations according to technical and operational standard.
• Provide report and support on any failures of engineering mechanical system at BHS
• Responsible to replace on leave officer in shift hours.
• Being part of investigation team for breakdown incident.
• To assist in plan, implement, monitor and analyze the maintenance related checklist and data.

Key Challenges

• Hands-on skills in maintenance and operational of BHS airport facilities
• Sound knowledge of M&E system particularly for conveyor/sorter
• Experience in BHS Operation and Maintenance.
• Working knowledge in managing multiple vendors and contractors
• Working knowledge in SAP system
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Relevant IndustriesInternal

• Certificate / STPM in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering with 5 years relevant working experience.
• STPM with at least 3 principal
• Diploma with minimum CGPA 2.8 and above
• SPM with 7 years relevant working experience.
• Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C
• The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion
