To lead, manage, and optimize the organization's technical operations team, ensuring efficient delivery of services, fostering a high-performing technical team, and aligning technology solutions with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage technical staff (e.g., engineers, support teams) to ensure skill development and high performance.
Infrastructure Oversight:
Oversee the management, maintenance, and security of technical systems (servers, networks, cloud, software, hardware).
Process Improvement:
Develop, implement, and monitor operational procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement.
Performance & Monitoring:
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures to maximize uptime and meet customer/project SLA.
Budget & Resource Management:
Prepare and manage technical operations budgets, optimize resource allocation, and oversee procurement.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work with other departments, senior management, and external vendors to align tech strategy with business goals and resolve issues.
Strategy & Planning:
Contribute to strategic planning for future IT needs, infrastructure upgrades, and technology adoption.
Compliance & Risk:
Ensure operations adhere to safety, security, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO), and manage disaster recovery/business continuity.
Reporting and Documentation:
Monitor and report on IT operational performance, uptime, and incident management metrics. Also need to maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure, processes, and policies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Proven experience (4-5+ years) in a technical leadership/management role.
Strong technical knowledge relevant to industry - Software maintenance & IT infrastructure.
Expertise in project management, problem-solving, and process improvement methodologies.
Able to communicate in English effectively with Principal/Partner.
