Oversee and manage all technical operations, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of foodservice equipment
Lead, supervise, and develop the technical/service team (technicians, supervisors, and subcontractors)
Plan and coordinate service schedules, preventive maintenance programs, and emergency call-outs to meet service level commitments
Ensure all installation and service works comply with manufacturer guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Provide technical support to the sales team during project planning, site surveys, and solution proposals
Manage project execution for kitchen equipment installations, including coordination with clients, contractors, and consultants
Monitor service quality, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction; implement improvements where necessary
Control technical operating costs, spare parts inventory, tools, and service resources
Liaise with equipment manufacturers and principals for technical training, warranty matters, and product updates
Prepare technical reports, service performance summaries, and operational updates for management
Ensure proper documentation of service records, warranties, manuals, and compliance certificates
Requirements
Proven experience in technical operations or service management within foodservice equipment, commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, or related industries
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Solid technical knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, electrical, gas, refrigeration, and/or mechanical systems
Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and service demands
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on and proactive approach
Good communication skills to liaise with customers, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams
Comfortable working with service KPIs, reporting, and operational controls
Willingness to be on-call or attend sites as required
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related technical field
Experience managing service contracts and preventive maintenance programs
Familiarity with foodservice industry standards and kitchen workflow
Vendor or manufacturer certification for commercial kitchen equipment (advantageous)
