The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling Fibromat's products and engineering solutions by providing technical expertise, commercial support, and professional engagement with clients within the construction and infrastructure industry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To identify and develop new business opportunities with consultants, contractors, developers, and relevant authorities.
To achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
To prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers in accordance with company guidelines.
To study project drawings, specifications, and requirements in order to recommend suitable Fibromat products and solutions.
To prepare technical submissions, calculations, method statements, and product specifications for tenders and projects.
To conduct technical presentations, product briefings, and discussions with clients and consultants.
To attend site visits, meetings, and inspections to provide technical clarification and support.
To coordinate with internal departments such as Engineering, Production, QA/QC, and Finance to ensure feasibility and compliance.
To assist in resolving technical or product-related issues during pre-sales and post-sales stages.
To build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
To monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing, and report findings to Management.
To prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates as required.
To comply with company policies, approval limits, and ethical standards.
To adhere to Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
To support internal audits and management reviews when required.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, Mechanical or related discipline).
Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of experience in technical sales or engineering (fresh graduates may be considered).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Willing to travel and attend site meetings as required.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
