Technical Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales System Infrastructure Solutions)



Location:



Menara Prima Avenue (The Tube), Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Working Schedule:



Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:



Lead the

solution design and architecture

for system infrastructure technologies, products, and solutions. Serve as the

primary technical point of contact

for infrastructure technologies including computing, networking, storage, central management, and data center systems.

Identify and analyze customer requirements

across areas such as virtualization, servers, storage, data protection, and backup solutions.

Design and propose solutions

for bids and projects, including detailed technical proposals, architectural diagrams, solution blueprints, and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs). Deliver

engaging technical presentations, product demonstrations,

and

solution workshops

for technical and non-technical audiences. Act as a

trusted technical advisor

, building strong relationships with key customer stakeholders throughout the sales cycle. Manage and execute

Proof of Concepts (POCs)

and technical evaluations to validate solution capabilities. Provide

technical training and enablement

to internal sales teams to strengthen their product knowledge and sales effectiveness. Keep up to date with

industry trends, emerging technologies

(e.g., AI infrastructure, edge computing, and advanced cybersecurity), and competitive offerings. Conduct

market analysis

to identify opportunities and position the company's solutions strategically. Liaise with

vendors, system integrators, and end-users

during business development, product presentations, and technical enablement sessions. Collaborate closely with

sales account managers and product teams

to develop account strategies, qualify opportunities, and drive revenue growth. Work with

professional services and delivery teams

to ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales to implementation. Build strong cross-functional relationships with

product management, engineering, and support teams

to ensure customer success and continuous feedback.

Job Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree in

Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering (Network/Security)

or equivalent. Minimum

5 years of relevant experience

in technical sales, engineering, or pre/post-sales roles. Proven experience in

System Infrastructure Solutions

(virtualization, servers, storage, networking, etc.).

Strong technical consulting skills

with a focus on business outcomes and sales impact. Ability to

design proposals

,

create solution blueprints

, and

develop accurate BOMs

for bids and projects. Possess excellent

presentation and communication skills

--able to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

Fluent in English

(spoken and written); proficiency in

Mandarin

is an added advantage. Related

IT product knowledge

and

certifications

will be an advantage. Self-motivated, organized, and able to

multi-task effectively

under pressure.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
