Role Description As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing new and existing business opportunities in the coatings industry. You will be required to work closely with the sales & marketing team and develop strong relationships with customers to sell a range of Beckers\' technical products. This is a full-time on-site role located in Shah Alam. Responsibilities Training Delivery: Provides training to customers on the use, application, and maintenance of the company\'s products, equipment, and documentation. This includes conducting training sessions both on-site at the customer\'s location and within the company\'s training center. Product Demonstrations: Conducts demonstrations of products, transferring knowledge on Beckers processes, and provides technical problem-solving guidance to customers. Technical Scans and Audits: Performs technical scans and audits at designated customer locations to assess and address technical issues and ensure the proper functioning of products. Problem Prevention and Resolution: Proactively identifies, prevents, and solves technical problems at existing customer sites to enhance customer satisfaction. Testing and Implementation: Conducts and/or assists in the testing process and implementation of new products and technologies, ensuring a smooth transition for customers. Collaboration with Technical Department: Collaborates with the technical department to handle complex technical issues and claims. Educates customers on solutions and provides feedback for continuous improvement. Product Development Support: Supports product development by offering advice on prototype selection and participating in test market execution. Sales Support: Assists sales departments by providing technical expertise during key phases of the sales process. Implements sales strategies and educates prospects on the technical aspects of the products. Qualifications Sales and business development experience in the coatings industry Familiarity with coatings technologies, testing procedures, and standards Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers Self-motivated and proactive mindset Bachelor\'s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Ability to travel domestically and internationally is a plus
