Job Purpose Strategic Capabilities: Actively identify and pursue NEW-NEW sales leads for potential target market segment to support NEW In-organic and segment growth plans Responsible for developing and driving the sales revenues for assigned new business segments and customers for Malaysia market Understanding key product line and identify thus develop potential market segment Working closely with the internal Technical and application team to develop unique proposition in engaging market needs through our product line and services. Following up closely on new business development and NPI / NBO activities until completion To work closely and align strategic opportunities within the Interconnect Business Development and Product Marketing team, To drive and increase revenue flows and growth from the allocated product portfolio To develop and implement customer penetration strategy and key account management To act as an enabler to build multi-level and function relationship between customer & MEDs To achieve Design-in / Design-win, revenue target by customers Key Responsibilities : 70% Hunter role driving NEW-NEW business and 30% Key account management role All other required duties & tasks set by the Company management Operational Capabilities: Self-motivated, results oriented, brand ambassador to pitch products and/or services to the customers To ensure the knowledge of all relevant products and or services within the BU are updated consistently Maintain a healthy project pipeline in an assigned target segment to drive from opportunities to short term forecast to order fulfilment To identify white spots at customer and work closely with marketing to bring in new product lines to fill these white spots Input new project opportunity to CRM software and update the project information on a regular basis. Principal Accountabilities Segment strategy & business growth Topline Revenue Target Measured for new business, customers & design win activities Forecast Accuracy Customer Satisfaction Account Receivables Position Specification Education Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering; Business Administration would be preferred Experience Requirements: More than 3 years (5 years for Senior role) in Technical Sales functions Good understanding Sales Key account management processes, with vast experience in Business Development role will be an added advantage Preferably the candidate to have working experience & knowledge in the Interconnect connector and cable accessories, Electro-mechanical industry Experience and background in Sales and Distribution business for the following segments (Energy and Industrial), customer\'s type (OEM/ODM, EMS/CM) is required Past experience in Transportation (EV) and Rail is a plus Other Essential Attributes: Good analytical, organizing and interpersonal skills Cultural sensitivity Strictly hunter personality is preferred displaying personal behavioral traits like sales aggressive and achievement orientation, and high energy level to drive NEW business Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
