Responsibilities: 1. To ensure the requisitions of requestors are fulfilled in a timely manner by performing sourcing and purchasing functions. 2. Negotiates with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost-saving objectives 3. To develop a strong vendor network & database and update purchasing records as well as pricing. 4. To issue PO, and coordinate with the vendor in an efficient and timely manner. 5. Responsible for order tracking, expedite & close monitoring of order delivery and production schedule with production and vendor and highlighting to Management any delivery issue. 6. Review material cost and perform material sourcing to achieve cost-saving objectives. 7. To ensure goods and materials purchased meets the technical specifications and requirements of the company. 8. To ensure the availability of material to meet production requirements. 9. To source the contractor and professional vendor/ technician for production and machine repair and maintenance purposes. 10. Ensure proper filing and keeping of soft and hard copies of purchasing-related documents. 11. Responsible to establish, implement and enhance inventory management. Requirements: 1. Preferable with a degree in business, supply chain management or a related field. 2. At least 3 years experience in the manufacturing industry (sheet metal, machinery) with technical specifications, requirements, and quality assurance. 3. Strong written and verbal communication in Mandarin as needed to deal with China Market 4. Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational skills, initiative, commitment, resourcefulness and attention to detail. 5. Computer literate and good in Microsoft Excel and Word.
