Job Description

Responsibilities:

Provide expert-level technical evaluation, validation, and advisory support on Climate Change services for the Oil & Gas and Energy industries. Responsible for reviewing technical deliverables, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory frameworks, and guiding project teams with subject-matter expertise.

Review and validate climate-related technical reports, calculations, models, and assessments. Ensure alignment with global climate standards including GHG accounting, decarbonization, CCUS, ESG, carbon strategy, and net-zero frameworks. Provide technical guidance and thought leadership to internal teams and clients. Support project teams in identifying technical gaps and proposing corrective actions. Act as technical authority in client engagements, tender reviews, and solution design. Keep up to date with policy changes, emission regulations, and climate technologies relevant to the Energy sector.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering. Minimum 8 years' experience in Climate Change services in the Oil & Gas / Energy industry. Minimum 5 years specifically in a technical delivery role related to Climate Change services. Strong knowledge of carbon policy, emissions measurement, energy transition and climate technology. Familiar with ISO standards, IPCC guidelines, carbon reporting frameworks, MRV, and climate risk assessments. Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM99,999.00 per month
