We are now hiring

Mandarin-speaking Tour Guides and Lead Travel Concierges

for our

European River Cruise routes

, to provide cultural interpretation, excursion coordination, and premium service for Chinese-speaking guests onboard.

Tour Guide & Concierge:

Deliver destination briefings and guided commentary in

Mandarin Chinese

. Escort and assist Chinese guests during

shore excursions, transfers, and city tours

. Support the onboard concierge desk: reservations, guest inquiries, daily tour coordination. Translate key information from English to Mandarin (announcements, schedules, safety notes). Represent Viking's hospitality and service excellence standards.

Lead Travel Concierge:

Coordinate multiple guides and manage daily excursion logistics. Liaise with local tour operators and report guest feedback to onboard management. Ensure seamless guest experience throughout the journey -- from embarkation to disembarkation.

Requirements

Fluent in Mandarin and conversational English.

Minimum 2 years' experience as

Tour Guide, Tour Leader, or Hotel Concierge

. Familiar with Chinese guest service expectations and cultural communication. Excellent presentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Positive attitude, professional appearance, and ability to work onboard for extended periods. No visible tattoos while wearing the company uniform

Personal Qualities:

Lead Travel Concierge:

Leadership, organization, and emergency response ability; patient and culturally sensitive.

Tour Guide & Concierge:

Clear communication, proactive service attitude, understanding of European attractions and culture, and strong teamwork spirit.

Interview Information
