Job Description

We are looking for:

Trainer who is responsible for developing, conducting, and evaluating training programs for retail staff in the optical industry. This role ensures that all employees possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and customer service standards to deliver an exceptional eyewear experience that aligns with the company's brand and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training & Development

Conduct training programs for new hires, including product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards. Provide ongoing training and refresher sessions for existing staff to maintain consistent performance and knowledge. Design and update training materials, manuals, and SOPs related to optical products, store operations, and retail excellence.

2. Product & Technical Knowledge

Train staff on optical terminology, lens types, frame materials, coatings, and other optical products. Collaborate with suppliers and opticians to ensure product knowledge is current and accurate.

3. Sales & Customer Service

Coach retail teams on effective communication, upselling, and consultation techniques to improve sales performance. Monitor and evaluate service standards across outlets and provide guidance for improvement.

4. Performance Evaluation

Assess the effectiveness of training programs through observation, feedback, and performance metrics. Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted training solutions.

5. Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with the Operations and HR teams to align training initiatives with business goals. Prepare regular training reports and maintain accurate training records.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Opticall related: 3 years (Preferred)
