Key Objective

  • The position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our partners/ producers, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the successful execution of company strategy:
- Growth of travel insurance portfolio to meet the financial target and profitability.
- Develop and explore new distribution channels and travel related product offering. * The role requires a strong understanding of the travel industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Major duties and responsibilities
  • Account Management
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales and revenue from existing distribution channel.
- Regularly monitor account performance, identify growth opportunities, and proactively address any challenges or bottlenecks.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with accounts to assess satisfaction levels, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary actions.
- Monitor accounts receivables and assist in credit control activities to ensure the timely collection of outstanding premiums.
  • Product Management
- Act as subject matter expert for travel insurance product offering, conduct training for travel agents, market agents, affinity partners and etc.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and enhance our product portfolio.
  • New Partner Implementation
- Work closely with internal teams, such as operations and IT, to implement new partner accounts, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for newly onboarded partners, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and providing ongoing support to foster their success.
  • Others
- Other duties as assigned whenever deemed fit by the Management.
Qualifications:
Skills
  • Good analytical skill, Result oriented, Creative and able to multi tasks effectively.
  • Strong sales, new business development and existing relationship development experience.
  • Possess excellent business acumen and resourceful.
  • Have good interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and be part if the team player.
  • Insurance and financial product knowledge preferred.
  • Good computer skills and familiarity in Microsoft Offices are required.
Experience
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience in the insurance industry with proven sales record
  • Experience in Travel industry will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
  • Degree in any discipline.
  • AMII/ACII or equivalent insurance qualifications
