Work you'll do:
You will serve as a core member of the Southeast Asia Digital Trust & Privacy Team, advising clients across the region at the intersection of data privacy and protection, data security, data governance, and emerging cybersecurity risks-including quantum supply chain readiness, IT general controls, and AI governance. In this role, you will provide end-to-end advisory services, conducting gap assessments, delivering tailored recommendations, and supporting clients through implementation. This includes deploying technological solutions such as PrivacyOps platforms, Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs), and data protection tools like Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data tokenization solutions.

• Support the conduct of fieldwork on client's policies, documentation, and processes against applicable bases (e.g. regulations, industry standards, etc.) as part of assessments and drafting of reports
• Support implementation efforts in relation to drafting policies, templates, processes, etc. to assist client's remediation of gaps
• Support coordination of project activities internally and with the client project team as required to drive the engagement
• Support the conduct of training sessions to clients as part of project delivery, such as drafting training decks, coordinating administrative matters for the training conduct, etc.
• Support activities as relevant and required for implementation of data privacy/protection, security, and governance technological solutions, including development of requirements specifications and test scripts, conducting configuration activities and testing, etc.
• Conduct research as required in relation to client engagements, publications, and/or other purposes as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or or a related field with modules in data management, governance, protection, and/or privacy
• More than 5 years of experience in data privacy and protection, data security, data governance, cyber security or relevant field
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated ability to independently conduct and manage project activities
• Passionate in data privacy, governance, and protection
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Mandarin/Bahasa Melayu is an added advantage
• Certifications such as CIPM, CIPP, CIPT, CISM, CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 ISMS, ISO 27701 PIMS are highly desirable
• Coding skills are a plus
