Looking for Level 2 \xe2\x80\x93 System Engineers who have experience in Unix Environment, Redhat Linux 8, Solaris 11.x, and/or AIX 7.x. Summary/Objective: This position provides system support for all UNIX/Linux based software by implementing, monitoring and maintaining systems and application software running under UNIX/Linux. The position also works with software / hardware vendors to provide optimum system performance and availability. Essential Functions: \xe2\x9e\xa2 Install, configure, and maintain Unix server operating systems and repair server hardware (Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX, RHEL 7.x & 8.x Physical & VM). \xe2\x9e\xa2 Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot the following software/hardware - Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX, RHEL 7.x & 8.x Physical & VM. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Provide a point of escalation and support to the L1 / L2 Engineers for incidents / problem tickets. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Participates in an On-Call duty rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage for all critical issues. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Perform routine system administration duties. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Monitor servers and troubleshoot issues. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Provide additional support when necessary. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Provide training and technical leadership to junior system administrators. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Produce appropriate documentation for server / project deployment, configuration, and related processes. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Good to have experience in Windows & Vmware. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Must have experience performing Enterprise level project management, implementation, and support. Also, must have strong working & technical knowledge. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Security Management o Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX & RHEL 7.x & 8.x Server hardening, security vulnerability assessment and remediation. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Work closely with IT engineers for all project support and implementations. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Drives efficient and effective resolution of problem / incident tickets. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Excellent customer service and experience in a professional service environment, with responsibility for supporting multiple applications. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Must have Good verbal and written communications skills. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Must have very strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Participate in weekly / monthly maintenance activities, as required. Job Requirements: \xe2\x9e\xa2 Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, advanced / Higher/ Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent. \xe2\x9e\xa2 At least 5 \xe2\x80\x93 7 years of relevant working experience. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Possesses technical knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server, VMWare. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience in Project Management. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Possesses excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Hands-on VMware product, and Windows based infrastructure. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Support Windows Server based systems, clustering software and system management agents. \xe2\x9e\xa2 Patch Management, Compliance Management, Configuration Management skills and support BAU as well as Projects.
