Job Description


:

The role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of electronic security systems throughout the bank including Head Offices, Channels and Branches. The primary focus entails the maintenance, implementation, budgeting and enhancement of the electronic security systems which include but are not limited to CCTV, Central Remote Monitoring (CRMS), Physical Access, Intrusion Alarm and Central Monitoring System (CMS).

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of electronic security personnel, overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of all tasks in strict adherence to relevant authorities, policies and procedural requirements.
  • Responsible to develop and implement a comprehensive electronic security strategy that aligns with the bank\'s overall security objectives and business goals including systems modernisation.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments of electronic security systems, identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation measures to address the gaps as they arise.
  • Ensure that all electronic security systems comply with relevant industry standards, banking regulations and security requirements.
  • Oversee the management of physical access ID Card including issuance, programming and maintenance of card access as per the policy and procedures.
  • Responsible for initiating and submitting periodic access reviews on a half-yearly basis to the relevant departments/divisions and ensure timely submissions for stakholders endorsement.
  • Responsible for maintaining an up to date and accurate staff listing based on the attrition list provided by the Group Human Resources and initiate prompt removal of resignees.
  • Monitor the movements of staff on compulsory leave when prompted and promptly report any breaches to the Group Human Resources.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments of electronic security systems, identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation measures to address emerging gaps.
  • Prepare and present reports on security performance, incidents including the overall security status to management and stakeholders.
  • Manage the entire process of preparing and submitting yearly Security CBI, Opex and Capex budgets including quarterly forecasting and tracking of expenses in relation to the budget.
  • Manage relationships with electronic security vendors, negotiate contracts and oversee service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure the delivery of quality services across the Bank.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans to effectively address electronic security breaches and ensure minimal disruption to bank operations.
  • Monitor Control Issue Management (CIM) and constantly update the progress of issues highlighted in the ShARP/QUEST system.
  • Ensure strict compliance of the following:-

KRI (Key Risk Indicator)

LED (Operational Event & Loss Data Management)

BCM (Business Continuity Management)

Risk Assessment
  • Review and conduct gap analysis on the existing policy, procedures, systems and process for issuance of MSII (Management Self Identify Issue).
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department and/or Head of Division from time to time.
  • Supervise and optimize the performance of team members by promoting an environment that enhances their job competencies.
  • Allocate resources effectively, acknowledge and reward high-performing staff and provide constant coaching to support the continuous development of the team.
  • Uphold strict compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures by demonstrating integrity and professionalism in serving the stakeholder.
  • Ensure full adherence to regulatory requirements and CIMB\'s policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or professional qualification in related fields (Security Management, Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent)
  • Professional certificate in Corporate Security and/or Occupational Safety & Health.
  • A minimum of 10 years of working experience with relevant experience in Corporate Security Management, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental and Electronic Security Management (preferably in the banking industry).
  • 5 years of prior leadership experience in a similar capacity.
  • Sound knowledge/experience in Corporate Security Management, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental and Electronic Security Management.
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to analyse and undertstand financial statements.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills to guide and assist teams in presenting proposals to stakeholders.
  • Good reputation and network in the banking industry
