Job responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead and manage the warehouse teams locally and regionally. \xe2\x80\xa2 Define departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, timing supply to production, eliminating obsolete and off-spec material, and reduce ageing material. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage day to day warehouse & logistics operations, resource planning, and ensure meeting KPIs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage warehouse & logistics department budgets; monthly review and verify transportation billing (3rd Party Warehouse and External Transport) and petrol charges and OT claim. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop, maintain and manage effective with collaboration with 3PL, ensure effective support of company operations requirements, KPIs and meeting of business targets. \xe2\x80\xa2 Resolute day-to-day operation issue that including inbound receiving and outbound shipping. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan, co-ordinate and implement product and service-related projects in warehouse & logistics operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Regularly review warehouse layout and ensure optimum space utilization. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor inventory levels and feedbacks to purchaser on the warehouse utilisation rate. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and develop a schedule for task that effectively allocates the resources to the activities and monitor the progress to ensure timely completion. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and manage cycle count and accountable for inventory accuracies \xe2\x80\xa2 Generate daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly reports for management review. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee documentation of procedures and work instructions in alignment with ISO standards compliance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct performance evaluations of warehouse and logistics personnel in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to encourage continuous performance improvement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Instill storekeeper discipline and 5S of warehouse \xe2\x80\xa2 Streamline operation to meet customers\' satisfaction and maintain accuracy of all orders in the system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Derive maintenance program to ensure forklift, lorry and truck are maintained in good condition at all time, and renewal of lorry license and inspection before due date \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and maintain transportation system on domestic and international freight/shipping that ensures business needs are met. \xe2\x80\xa2 Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation/distribution and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations as well as ISO requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, including tracking, regulatory reporting and vendor management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Improve logistics performance by leading implementation of new projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support trade compliance activities and provide assistance to other departments to assure compliance with appropriate regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement and maintain all occupational health and safety programs, environmental compliance programs/reporting with an emphasis on targeted key initiatives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Planning for Packaging Material Order (Pallet, carton box or others) supply to internal / external warehouse. \xe2\x80\xa2 Other ad hoc duties as and when assigned. Job Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Technical skills such as distribution and warehousing management, health and safety program, continuous process improvement, lean logistics, business development and project management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in Quality Management System, and audit methodology. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in Warehouse Management System, including standard business office software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong written and communication skills, good team player and ability to lead. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to analyze and problem-solve, cultivate safety habits and ability to multi-task. \xe2\x80\xa2 In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems. (Manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement & distribution) \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with requirements of ISO 14001 & TS 16949 \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess a positive attitude, conduct with impartiality and openness; tactfulness and resourcefulness in all dealings.
