A rapidly growing logistics company is seeking a high-calibre candidate for a Warehouse Manager job to manage all warehouse operations and to look into the optimisation and improvement opportunities to further add value to its key accounts.

About the Warehouse Manager Role:
In this role, you will take the lead in providing direction to its warehousing operations which caters to clients across several industries and managing the KPI of the operations team to ensure the smooth operations to ensure customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees
• Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely to customer outlet
• Provide inventory reports on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for management information
• Receive incoming goods, locally and from overseas, documented by delivery orders, goods received or returned. Maintain stringent quantity and quality checks, report rejections or short supply
• Oversee packaging of finished machines, storage, loading and outbound shipping
• Contribute ideas to optimise space utilisation, stock levels, timely delivery to assembly, cost and reliability of shipment to customers globally
• Lead the team as reliable, flawless, internal service provider to production

To succeed in this Warehouse Manager role, you will need to possess strong communication skills and hands-on approach in warehouse operations to ensure above satisfactory service to long term clients and increase the company\'s market share within the logistics industry.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Commerce or any relevant industry
• A minimum of eight years\' working experience in a warehouse management
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, inventory and CRM software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently whilst still being a team player
