Warehouse Manager

Location : Jalan Ipoh
Working Hour : Monday - Friday; 09.00AM - 06.00PM

Remuneration : RM10,000 - RM12,000

• Plans, organizes and directs all activities & inventory management
• Managing and optimizing overall Warehouse, Logistics & Transportation operation and planning
• Optimise warehouse space to allow for continuous operations
• Fully responsible for the company profit & loss account, budgeting and monthly operating expenditure.
• Establishes and adheres to effective processes accordance to each business unit requirements for safety, quality, service, cost and timeliness of delivery.
• Ensures the implementation of industry standards and best practices for continuous improvement for both warehousing and transportation.
• Analyzes distribution performance information, capacity versus forecast planning, material flow and financial information to determine changes in operations as required.
• Leads an environment of open communication while creating a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Provides direction and guidance to subordinates in establishing daily routine job function and reporting methods for respective job function.
• Leads with excellent supervision and coaching which contributes to the development of managers, executives, supervisors and other team members.
• Leading the entire team to ensure they achieve all the intended KPI
• Leading diverse team of members from admin staff, lorry drivers to foreign workers

Job Requirements

• At least a Diploma or Degree in Logistics / Warehouse / Engineering / Business Administration.
• Min 8 years managerial working experience in spare parts, goods warehousing or in any other related retail field.
• Adequate computer skills and literacy in Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint application & WMS software.
• Excellent verbal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proven track record in Logistics Management, ideally within a planning environment.
• Strong team player with the ability to influence and motivate others to build productive and effective working relationships and a thorough understanding of Supply Chain processes.
• Demonstrates the ability to make quick and effective decisions to drive performance.
• Familiar with SAP is an added advantage
