Area of Responsibilities/Tasks:
Ensure correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.)
Capture relevant data in data processing systems.
Arrange the acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems.
Organize a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
Assemble deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
Ensure accurate records are maintained and correct documentation produced in a timely manner enabling the product to be dispatched inline with customer expectations.
Supporting machine operators in stocking or reloading the machines.
Control the movement of stock & materials to different areas of the business internal & external.
Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been finished to meet the required specification.
Manage inventory and returns process.
Ensures productivity standards are met.
Identify problem areas and offer solutions to improve operational efficiencies.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Ensuring that deliverables are available at the point of installation when required.
Supporting the planning manager with regard to effects of changes in the sequence of work allocation, i.e. advising on the availability of required material and equipment at a given time.
Planning and executing the movement of bulky deliverables on the Site.
Managing laydown areas close to points of installations.
Managing damage goods and non-conformance goods and ensure all replacement are in time at the point of installation when required.
Ensure waste management are in place of all activity.
Requirements:
Ability to use Excel and Microsoft word.
Previous experience gained within a similar role.
Ability to demonstrate Quality Awareness
Manual Handling experience
Previous experience gained within a similar role.
Excellent time management/organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable
Proactive, solutions driven, sense of urgency.
Ability to work on own initiative and in team situations.
Must have the driver license.
