Commercial Management

  • Responsible for developing cost plans for Asia project business cases at Strategy and Feasibility stage.
  • Tracking volume of all activities and reporting
  • Defining and reviewing the information flow from region to Cost Hub
  • Collation of Strategy and Feasibility project cost plans to determine regional volume forecasts to prepare a better buying plan
  • Create a new cost model that is fed by the space calculator
  • BIM enabled ready to receive Revit files for Quantity Take-Off to feed into cost estimates
Cost Intelligence
  • Create and maintain a benchmark database
  • Deliver a quarterly benchmarking report of the client\'s global programme with cost insights for key markets
  • Lead the collation of regional rates for the client\'s global schedule of rates database for commercial office and retail programmes; leveraging:
  • Term contractor rates
  • Panel supplier rates (e.g. FF&E and Consultants)
  • Market rates sources from T&T\'s wealth of cost information and/or suppliers in market
  • Link into T&T ICMS and Hive
  • Develop a suite of standard cost documents to ensure consistency in cost reporting
  • Build a working relationship with CBRE\'s Intelligent Solutions Centre (ISC) in Manila to gain access to CBREs Project Management systems (Kahua) for any project related data
Commercial Assurance
  • Conduct regular commercial assurance to ensure Clarity financials are up to date
  • Assure all project purchase orders, invoices, bank standard contracts and evidence of at least 2 quotations per package are stored in the project repositories
  • Gain access to bank\'s commercial systems such as ePRO, Oracle, SAP and the General Ledger to conduct validation of orders raised
Document Control
  • Implicitly understand the clients global Project Management Standards and Property processes
  • Implement the document control strategy to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Monitor compliance of the publication of all documents into the chosen document management system by Project Delivery Partners (PDPs)
  • Ensure documents are stored in correct format and with the correct status and metadata
  • Review project document repositories for all artefacts on a monthly basis and generate monthly Observation trackers to assist Programme Managers in their monthly assurance reviews in week 3
  • Maintaining appropriate levels of information about documents produced including storage locations, status, owners etc. sufficient for regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring that Project Documentation is managed by PDPs and for purposes of audit ensure data is consolidated and deposited on client\'s share drive during close out of the project.
Qualifications
  • Between 8 to 10 years\' experience in working within the construction / real estate industry.
  • Experience in dealing with global clients with strict governance and compliance procedures.
  • Corporate occupier experience particularly with financial institutions is highly advantageous.
  • Degree qualifications in quantity surveying, project/construction management, engineering disciplines or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a procurement and contract management
  • Experience working with construction forms of contracts (e.g. FIDIC, NEC, local construction contracts, etc)
  • Comfortable in managing large amounts of procurement, contracts and financial data.
