JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor\'s Degree Or Master Degree in Science (preferably in technical areas i.e Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, etc)
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience
• Working experience with a publicly listed company is an advantage
• Strong command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Experienced in Technology Venture Fund

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Technology Investment Strategy:

• Contribute to the development of investment strategies and initiatives focused on technology sectors, aligned with the firm\'s investment objectives and market trends.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and innovation trends that present attractive investment opportunities.

2) Deal Sourcing and Evaluation:

• Proactively source and evaluate potential technology investment opportunities through various channels, including industry networks, venture capital firms, accelerators, and technology ecosystems.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, assessing factors such as market potential, technology differentiation, competitive landscape, and intellectual property.

3) Investment Analysis and Financial Modelling:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of technology companies and start-ups, evaluating their financial performance, growth potential, and scalability.
• Develop and refine financial models to assess the valuation, return potential, and risk profile of technology investments.

4) Investment Execution:

• Lead and manage the execution of technology investment transactions, including structuring, negotiations, and documentation.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and other teams to ensure smooth and efficient investment processes.

5) Portfolio Management and Monitoring:

• Oversee and monitor the performance of technology investments within the portfolio.
• Conduct regular reviews and analysis of portfolio companies, tracking financial performance, market trends, and technology roadmap.
• Identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and strategic partnerships to enhance portfolio company value.

6) Market Research and Industry Analysis:

• Stay updated on the latest technological advancements, industry trends, and market dynamics within technology sectors.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on specific technology areas, identifying investment themes, and evaluating disruptive technologies.

7) Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, technology start-ups, venture capital firms, and industry experts.
• Collaborate with external partners, co-investors, and strategic advisors to leverage expertise and insights for technology investment activities.

8) Reporting and Communication:

• Prepare investment memorandums, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
• Communicate investment strategies, updates, and performance to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.

9) Leadership and Team Development:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, guiding their professional development and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

10) Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and internal policies in technology investment activities.

11) Continuous Learning and Professional Development:

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes within technology sectors.
• Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand knowledge, build relationships, and identify investment opportunities.
