About Our Client
Our client is a major technology company selling life science instruments and consumables. Their products are used in medical, scientific, and industrial labs, both in research and diagnostics. They carry products well-recognized for quality and innovation.Key responsibilities will involve:
- Regular field visits to researchers, lab technologists, and scientists in industrial, medical, and research labs.
- Having high-level technical and scientific discussions with end-users and performing solution-selling
- Driving revenue and achieving sales targets for your assigned territory
- Conducting workshops, demonstrations, and exhibitions to showcase products and connect with the scientific community
- Sales forecasting and reporting
- Product management and working with branding and marketing teams for promotions and campaigns
- Developing long-term relationships with key accounts and ensuring repeat sales
The Successful Applicant
Key requirements include:- Bachelor\'s degree in a Life Sciences discipline such as biotechnology, biomedical science, or biomedical engineering
- 3-5 years experience in laboratory equipment sales is essential for this role
- Good network among scientific research, industrial pharma, biotech, and clinical end-users/accounts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong prior sales track record
- Based in the Klang Valley and willing to travel to outstation areas
