About Our Client
Our client is a major technology company selling life science instruments and consumables. Their products are used in medical, scientific, and industrial labs, both in research and diagnostics. They carry products well-recognized for quality and innovation.
Key responsibilities will involve:
Regular field visits to researchers, lab technologists, and scientists in industrial, medical, and research labs.
Having high-level technical and scientific discussions with end-users and performing solution-selling
Driving revenue and achieving sales targets for your assigned territory
Conducting workshops, demonstrations, and exhibitions to showcase products and connect with the scientific community
Sales forecasting and reporting
Product management and working with branding and marketing teams for promotions and campaigns
Developing long-term relationships with key accounts and ensuring repeat sales
The Successful Applicant
Key requirements include:
Bachelor\'s degree in a Life Sciences discipline such as biotechnology, biomedical science, or biomedical engineering
3-5 years experience in laboratory equipment sales is essential for this role
Good network among scientific research, industrial pharma, biotech, and clinical end-users/accounts
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong prior sales track record
Based in the Klang Valley and willing to travel to outstation areas
