About this role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Business Administrator to join our vibrant and enthusiastic group based in Malaysia. You will be proactively providing administrative and commercial support to one of our groups at all different levels. Working under the guidance and support of a Senior Business Administrator, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other BAs locally and globally and attain great exposure to the design/engineering/construction industry.
What will I do?

  • Arranging travel, team events, meetings, and workshops, including help with logistics and documentation
  • Responding to enquiries and requests for information and providing guidance to others internally on Arup systems and processes
  • Coordinating Vacation Student and Graduate interviews
  • Creating and updating our Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform
  • Supporting members, leaders and our mobility team with administration connected to long-term assignment (LTA) and short-term assignment (STA) coordination


What will I bring?
  • Relevant industry experience in administration within a consulting/engineering-built environment business
  • Capable of working well with people at all levels (both technical and non-technical staff)
  • Excellent understanding, or an ability to build this understanding, of processes and guidelines. Skills in an area that could be considered specialised (e.g., CRM, documents, travel, etc.) in alignment with individual career aspirations and appraisal.
  • Knowledge of Arup systems, able to train and help others and encourage members to make better use of the systems. Experience with troubleshooting and escalating system issues to relevant parties.
  • Results driven, with ability to remain positively motivated and foster team spirit including assisting others to meet deadlines.
