Interco is a complex environment with many departments involved, different solutions and different sub-process leading the need to focus on:

Centralize master data
Build a robust Governance
Accordingly and in line with best practices, Sanofi decided to create an integrated interco Center of Excellence (CoE) combining a deep knowledge in business processes, technical expertise and software delivery with a passion for user experience.
This role is reporting to the Interco CoE Operations Lead based in Kuala Lumpur
The purpose of this role is to deliver and manage intercompany accounting services, address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner, deliver operational KPIs and comply with Sanofi policies and guidelines and participate to continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is based at Plaza 33 Office, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure issuing invoices, booking invoices and reconciliation of Interco Services.
Ensure issuing invoices or credit notes, booking invoices and reconciliation of Manual Interco product flow including support to identify the root cause/issue resolution
Perform accruals for the not invoiced items for automated product flows at month-end
Perform calculation & booking for accruals of goods in transit
Clearing interco services and product invoices
Clear COGS and Non-COGS GRIR interco
Contribute to business reviews
Execute in compliance of processes, transactions and reports with Sanofi accounting policies, internal control guidelines and audit / SOX requirements
Complete all activities as per the global Core Model and operational KPIs
Develop expert level knowledge of the activities in scope as well as local knowledge of entities in scope and become a super-user
Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in process automation initiatives and ensure seamless adoption and transition
Stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 Management
Sets up close relationships with other Finance stakeholders (controlling, treasury, IFSA, tax, internal control,...), other SBS departments, Customer Service and A2R team.
Set up close relationship within the organization (Continuous Improvement Interco CoE Team, Operations analyst and Master Data, Technology & automation) to provide improvements in the process & Solutions to secure an End to End optimized & efficient process.
Geographic scope
Intercompany transactions for all JPAC/Greater China/International affiliates with other affiliates.
The intercompany transactions for Latin-American affiliates will be managed by Captive in Bogota and the intercompany transactions for European, North America will be managed by Captive in Budapest.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands on expertise in intercompany processes and activities (essential)
Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs (essential)
Knowledge of GL accounting and reporting (essential)
Experience in working within a Business Services organization (advantageous)
Good business acumen (advantageous)
Hand-on experience with spreadsheets, data entry and word processing skills
Strong problem solving skills, deductive, well organized and attention to detail
Delivery oriented
Fluency in English mandatory
Knowledge of other European languages (advantageous)
About you
Graduate degree in accounting or finance
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Professional Certification in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent
Good and proven experience in GL accounting preferably in an international multicultural environment
Experience in accounting with direct work experience in Interco operations and its delivery
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel
Hands-on experience of SAP FICO and other accounting closing solutions (e.g. Cadency, Blackline as example)
Positive and agile mindset
Well rounded individuals, with participation in extra curricular activities
Self-motivated and ability to work independently
