Description
You will be based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia to shoot and video edit a variety of deliverables as required by the bureau correspondent and headquarters in Singapore.
- Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:
o Operating LiveU, BGAN or similar bonded cellular/satellite devices
o Managing and maintaining technical equipment including cameras, video editing facilities, LiveU/BGAN/similar bonded cellular/satellite devices
- You will work closely with the bureau correspondent and other bureau staff, as well as desk editors, producers and assistant producers at the headquarters in Singapore
- You will be required to travel to other parts of Malaysia and outside the country as needed
- You will be required to work in different environments and situations, e.g. disaster zones, high-risk areas, protests etc
- Diploma in Digital Audio, Video Production, Electronic, Film Sound and Video or Mass Communication.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Possess basic knowledge of non-linear editing and file transfer protocol
- Good team player and prepared to work on irregular shifts including weekends and Public Holidays
