A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Sales Manager, you will drive and coordinate all client activity during the various project development phases of an opportunity through order entry and deliver the successful sales campaigns and customized service for Steam turbine & Generator portfolio in Oil & Gas, Industrial and Power Generation market segments. we are looking for an experienced Sales Professional who will actively manage a designated account base creating business opportunities and drive customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will be expected to liaise with the customers O&M team for early business development, manage the respective relationships and develop and implement the project sales strategies to secure orders for Siemens Energy products and services. You will identify the client project evaluators, influencers and decision-makers in customer organization and drive the Siemens Energy value at each stage of acquisition cycle.

\xc2\xb7 Develop and growth our sustainable service products portfolio, preparing solutions to meet customer needs.
\xc2\xb7 Gather and share relevant knowledge (customer buying behaviour, industry, market, competitor and portfolio information) to drive business development.
\xc2\xb7 Proactively and systematically prospect the market aiming to generate new leads and
opportunities.
\xc2\xb7 Represents Siemens Energy in pre-contract dealings with customers including negotiations.
\xc2\xb7 Perform forecasting, reporting and win-loss analysis.
\xc2\xb7 Plan, organize and participate in conferences and trade shows.
\xc2\xb7 Lead and deliver successful sales campaigns in Oil & Gas, Industrial and Power Generation market segments.
\xc2\xb7 Identify and maintain the opportunity list in Salesforce in a punctual and accurate manner.
\xc2\xb7 Develop the sales capture plan and transactional strategy for each identified opportunity incorporating the customer needs, equipment application, aftermarket and LTP strategy, Siemens Energy strengths, competitor\'s weaknesses and a robust market level pricing recommendation based on the assessment of competitive position.
\xc2\xb7 Understand the evaluation and decision-making process of customers and develop a strategy to position Siemens Energy.
\xc2\xb7 Provide direction to the \xe2\x80\x9cfirm proposals\xe2\x80\x9d group for developing a firm proposal in line with the project sales strategy and lead the technical and commercial negotiations with the customer until contract closure.
\xc2\xb7 Manage the organizational risk through the entire sales development process both in terms of customer contractual obligations as well as providing robust internal sales forecasting.
\xc2\xb7 Achieve and maintain superior responsiveness to customers with quality information to strengthen Siemens Energy position.
\xc2\xb7 Identify objectives, strategies, and sales plans to improve short and long-term order intake.
What You Bring
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor of Science in Engineering required with minimum 7 years of experience in Energy industry and at least 5 years in sales/business development role.
\xc2\xb7 Turbo-machinery experience required; Strong technical understanding of the steam turbine & generator is preferred.
\xc2\xb7 Must to be fluent in English languages.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and interact with all levels within customer organization, Strong analytical and strategic thinker with a focus on technical differentiation and value selling
\xc2\xb7 Proficient in communication, both written and spoken, able to discuss technical and commercial aspects; Strong presentations skills, both written and oral at all levels.
\xc2\xb7 Willingness to travel as required. This position will be based in Johor.
