The role:

We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our high performing team in Center Of Excellence (COE) in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

As the HR Operations Specialist, you will:

• Actively facilitates the embedding of PPG within COE and ensures the maintenance of the job classification process.
• Provides support of recruitment activities as and when required, raising reqs in Workday and hiring employees into the system when they join, generating offer letters and salary proposals, updating and maintaining recruitment required reports and etc
• Compiling data for payroll processing and inserting the data into the payroll template and sending to the payroll officer as per the stipulated cut off times and datelines
• Generating resignation acceptance letters for leavers and conducting exit interviews. Updating necessary attrition reports and sending out monthly/weekly reports
• Guiding managers on local labor law practices and coaching and guiding managers on PIP processes, issuing show cause & warning letters, facilitating grievance process

Ensures all regulatory and group policy requirements are met at all times including supporting business leaders in ad-hoc reporting\xe2\x80\x99s, maintaining ad-hoc reports required by the business, managing HRDF funds and working with external training providers to source for trainings, maintaining employee records, files, reports & etc

Qualifications

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Degree with more than 5 years in Shared Services, preferably knowledge in Workday and Service Now
• Passionate with both frontline and backend support and has good internalization on HR work processes and customer engagement
• Good knowledge on Malaysia employment regulations, and any 1-2 other APAC or European countries\xe2\x80\x99 operations is an advantage
• A structured and process-oriented person that is resilience and adaptable to work in a fast-pace environment to build the new HR Operations framework
• Resourceful, independent and has the capability to rapidly learn new systems and processes and exhibit an openness to change
• Able to prioritize based on service level agreements, urgency, and level of impact to the business.
