Please note this position is based in Kota Kinabalu We\'re looking for an experienced Commercial Manager with a proven track record of success in the food and beverage industry to join the Commercial team of one of our business ventures, airasia Grocer. airasia Grocer was recently established to connect farmers directly to businesses, leveraging on airasia\'s network of air and land logistics capabilities to reduce the gap between farmers and businesses. Today airasia Grocer has grown to be a trusted food supply partner for importers, distributors, supermarket chains, hotels, restaurants, central kitchens and NGOs . The Commercial Manager is responsible to plan and implement commercial strategies that\'s in-line with the company\'s objectives and priorities. The goal is to lead and expand the organisation\'s commercial activities generating new revenue opportunities, maximising profitability and creating sustainable growth. The role of the Commercial Manager covers : Drive commercial objectives - key accounts expansion, market expansion & product range expansion Performance management for domestic and international sales initiatives - working with Sales head\'s to drive revenue growth Working closely with commercial team in KL to align objective and standardise practices Collaborate with sales and product sourcing team to identify new products and expand product range Utilising data - sales, purchasing behaviour trends and market trends to drive revenue growth and adapt sales strategies Responsibilities Development and implementation of commercial strategies/initiatives. End-to-end management of commercial objectives - from planning, stakeholder management & post-campaign analysis Identifying the key value drivers of the different customer segments to generate ideas and propositions to improve sales conversion Developing and growing airasia grocer\'s brand as the leader in sourcing and supplying cross-border products Leadership by example when ensuring company policies and culture are followed through Ensuring that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost and efficiency targets (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)) in line with business objectives Requirements Track record in a commercial / product management / Business Development role Strong at commercial planning and strategy. Able to analyse data and develop initiatives that increase revenues/profitability Degree in business, sales & marketing, commerce, engineering or relevant fields MSc/MA is a plus. Demonstrate leadership qualities, strategic thinking & problem solving skills with the ability to be hands-on, displaying a \'can-do\' attitude. Committed to learning and development, ensuring a culture of continuous improvements among team members.
