Job description
Heading/intro:
A global MNC specializing in transformer services is looking for a Business Development Manager/Commercial Manager with distribution grid experience to pioneer a new project for the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with the Sales and Service team to develop a business development strategy and pipeline for the APAC region.
- Advancing knowledge of the distribution grid solutions with relevant stakeholders including customers, partners, utility companies and energy authorities.
- Building a strong network by identifying key decision makers.
- Writing relevant publications and attending conferences to create awareness in the region.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, ,Master\'s Degree/PhD would be highly advantageous.
- Understanding of electrical power grids and related regulations and energy policy.
- Experience in distribution grid planning/innovation or large scale renewable projects in wind or solar.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia and internationally.
- Commercial planning experience, ideally in a regional role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
